The shower wall of the Signature King Room is laid in majolica: cobalt, sand and black on a cream ground, cut and set by hand, lit from above so the glaze holds the light.

A rain shower, and a wall of tile.
Every Signature King Room has its own bathroom in the same language: oak shelf, white vessel basin, arched mirror, a band of majolica along the wall and a glass shower with a rain head overhead.

Between your room and Breedestraat there is a reception and a lounge to sit in, corridors where a panel of the original 1892 rubble wall has been left bare, and a teal and white facade that people stop in the street to photograph.
