Every bathroom in the house is set with majolica, the painted tile you meet all over the old town. In the lofts it is cut into a splashback behind the basin and run floor to ceiling in the shower, pattern against plain oak.

The loft bathrooms are tucked under the same slope as the bedroom. A vessel basin sits on a thick oak shelf, the mirror is arched, the shower is a walk in with a rain head, and the tile is the real thing.
