Best Shore Snorkelling Spots
You do not need a boat to see Curaçao's reefs: many beaches drop off into living coral within a short swim, and a few hide turtles and wrecks.
For turtles, head to Playa Piskado, Playa Lagun or Blue Bay. For coral walls, try Porto Mari's double reef, Cas Abao's left point or Playa Kalki. For something different, the shallow Tugboat wreck at Caracas Bay is reachable with just a mask. Bring your own gear or rent at the managed beaches, and always check conditions before entering.
Good to know
- Turtles: Piskado, Lagun, Blue Bay. Coral: Porto Mari, Cas Abao, Kalki.
