Playa Lagun
Playa Lagun is a small, photogenic cove hemmed by tall cliffs, best known as one of the most reliable places on Curaçao to snorkel with green sea turtles.
The fishing village of Lagun sits near the west end, about an hour from Willemstad. The beach is small and can fill quickly, but the payoff is the turtles that graze and surface in the bay, plus squid and reef fish along the cliff walls. A couple of simple restaurants overlook the water. Go early for parking and calm conditions.
