Playa Forti
Playa Forti at Westpunt is less about sand and more about the dramatic cliff that thrill-seekers leap from, and the clifftop restaurant that catches the sunset.
At the island's far north-west tip, about an hour and fifteen from Willemstad, Playa Forti has a darker pebble-and-sand beach below tall cliffs. The famous jump is from the rocks into deep water, only for strong, confident swimmers who have checked conditions. The restaurant above serves fresh fish with a sweeping sea view, making it a fine sunset stop.
