Christoffel National Park
Christoffel National Park protects the island's wild northwest, including Mount Christoffel — at 372 m the highest point in Curaçao — plus scenic drives, hiking trails and rare wildlife.
The early-morning hike to the summit is steep but rewards with island-wide views; the park's driving routes pass cacti, divi-divi trees and historic plantation ruins. Look for the rare Curaçao white-tailed deer, iguanas, parakeets and orchids. Start at dawn to beat the heat — the summit climb closes mid-morning. It is about a 45-minute drive from Willemstad.
Good to know
- Start the summit hike at dawn — it closes by late morning.
